My Current Top 5 Favorite Beauty Products

While you’re out shopping for the kids’ back to school supplies, grab a couple of these items for yourself.  Mamas can always use some pampering.  Here are my current top 5 beauty products in no particular order...

 

1.    It’s Amazing Shampoo & Conditioner

  • I purchase this from a local salon and it has done wonders for my hair!  Y’all know I love a bargain, so paying high dollar for hair products just isn’t my jam when I can use a coupon at the drugstore.  Luckily, this shampoo and conditioner comes in at $15 a bottle and it smells FANTASTIC!!

2.    Jergen’s Tanning Mousse

  • Let’s face it.  Tan fat looks better than white fat...for me anyway.  I love a good spray tan, but I don’t always have time to get one.  My favorite part of this product is that it dries in 60 seconds!!  It’s perfect for those last minute events and at less than $10 you can keep your glow all year long.

3.    LimeLife Botanical Foundation

  • I will NEVER use another foundation.  This wax based foundation feels amazing on my skin, doesn’t clog my pores and gives a flawless finish.  A pan lasts me 3-4 months, often longer in the summer because I am barefaced more, and it comes in a variety of shades for all skin tones.  I literally HATE taking my makeup off because I love it so much!

4.    Rodan & Fields Lash Boost

  • Although not a budget friendly item, I am a firm believer in it.  Long lashes are all the craze right now and this stuff works!  It has added so much volume and length to my lashes and I often forget to apply mascara because of that.  Totally worth the investment!

5.    Burt’s Bees chapstick/lip balm

  • I keep a couple of tubes of this stashed in every pocketbook.  I inherited dry lips (thanks Daddy) so this is necessary year-round for me.  I love that it comes in a variety of flavors and even has a sunscreen option. My current obsession...the Flavor Crystals Lip Balm in Tropical Pineapple.  Hello Summer!
